LCFC (Hefei) Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as LCFC) was established in 2011, which is the largest PC R&D and manufacturing base of Lenovo in the world, a national intelligent manufacturing demonstration base ，a national industrial design center and a national green factory. It has the largest single workshop in PC manufacturing industry, 23 assembly and production lines for the intelligent motherboard and 27 assembly and production lines for the whole unit. The automation level of the intelligent motherboard production line has reached up to 75%, which is in the leading position in the industry. LCFC can handle 5000 orders intelligently every day (more than 80% of them are customized with less than five units). It can select more than 2,000 computer components within 4 hours, and form tens of thousands of customized configuration combinations and create unique products for customers. The order delivery efficiency is on average 15% faster than industry standards.
LCFC has R&D centers in Hefei and Taipei and has gathered more than 1,000 international high-tech talents to form a "dual-engine-driven" model in Hefei and Taipei. LCFC has more than 1,400 R&D engineers, over 55% of which engineers have the development experience for five to ten years. LCFC has 37 leading laboratories in the industry, coordinates with Lenovo to establish the relationship of strategic partnerships with the world’s leading scientific and research institutions and Fortune 500 enterprises. LCFC has also established innovative R&D platforms such as provincial post-doctoral research workstations, provincial and municipal industrial design centers and enterprise technology centers. LCFC has built a three-dimensional R&D system of "enterprise, society and partner" interaction. LCFC makes every innovative idea a reality and achieve excellence product design. In just a few years, it has owned nearly 1000 patents, and has won the iF International Award and the "Red Spot Award" for several consecutive years.
LCFC has created a product life cycle quality management system with a standard far higher than the industry to ensure the product quality. Prior to the launch of the product, more than 1000 functional tests were carried out to simulate different user usage habits and application scenarios on average, and nine stringent military standard tests can be completed by LCFC. Lu Zhou Laboratory of LCFC has been certified by CNAS (China National Accreditation Committee for Qualification Assessment). The test results have achieved mutual recognition with 35 quality management systems and 54 authoritative laboratories in the world.
LCFC cooperates in good faith with hundreds of suppliers around the world to build an efficient supply chain system, to quickly achieve various purchasing and supply objectives, and to set up a green channel for key customers in order to meet the customized needs of all kinds of customers. The direct flights from Hefei to Los Angeles, China-Europe rail transport and other transportation means ensure the rapid supply of products to 126 countries and regions around the world.
